Prior to becoming a Mortgage Broker in February 2006, Neil worked for 27 years in various customer service roles within the public sector. He was one of the key team members responsible for the expansion of Queensland Transport’s personalised number plate scheme, prior to its privatisation.
Following this role, he moved to the specialised area of heavy haulage and special purpose vehicles in the Vehicle Standards section of Queensland Transport. In this role, he quickly established a reputation for the level of customer service provided, and in 1999, he was presented with “The Extra Mile” award for outstanding customer service.
Following a restructure, Main Roads became responsible for the role, this meant Neil was unable to maintain the one-on-one contact clients were used to receiving and deserved. As a result, Neil and his partner Glenda decided to move in a different direction and establish their own business as finance brokers. This allowed Neil to continue his love for helping people while also providing high quality finance solutions for his clients.
Neil is also a former Rotarian serving in many club and district roles over many years. Through these roles and the many hours of dedicated community service, I was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship (Rotary’s 2nd highest honour) by my club in 2004.
